In a context of increasing local demand for timber, it is essential to consolidate the logistic and informative performance of forestry companies allowing them to optimise the different stages of the logging process. It is therefore essential today to develop the tools, skills and geomatics hardware and software organisation of logging companies allowing them to better structure their mining sites. Full internalisation of these aspects is complex and costly for SSEs and SMEs. A relevant solution in this context is to pool within the sector some of the skills and logistics (hardware, software) with an integration of the consolidated data of the manager (NFB) in terms of geolocation of wood, characterisation of the terrain and service. Under these conditions, the project aims to provide forest companies with a simple and integrated geomatics tool and procedures with the tools of the Forest Manager (FB), allowing centralised monitoring and day-to-day management of logging sites and the wood traceability chain. It must thus make it possible to ensure a geolocalised monitoring of the different states of the trees from their designation until their arrival in the sawmill.
