Bats are particularly poorly known and threatened species. In the Alps, the forest challenge is major, with the majority of species completing crucial stages of their life cycle within wooded environments. Led by the National Forestry Board, the project will consist of carrying out studies to map the areas of daily activity of bats within the green frame and to identify their tree lodges. It will thus be possible to identify measures favourable to their conservation, and recommendations for appropriate management in order to make the forest landscape more functional vis-à-vis chiropractic plants.
