The community of Agglomération du Bassin de Brive (CABB) inter-municipal with nearly 110.000 inhabitants comprising 48 communes in the south west of the department of the corrèze, has applied for the call for projects “Pôle de nature en massif Central 2014-2020”. The Brive agglomeration thus displays a proactive strategy to enhance the natural and heritage resources of its territory in order to meet the diversity of people’s expectations regarding sport and outdoor recreation: the objective is to welcome tourists and sportsmen from France and around the world. The Brive agglomeration wishes to promote an identity “destination of full nature of excellence” around a concept of multi-activities to strengthen partnerships and ensure greater legibility for users. the aim is to widen a qualitative offer of services in a logic of complementarity and pooling of resources. To do this, the Brive agglomeration has established a diagnosis shared by all the actors of the territory, defined tourism development objectives by an offer of green and blue sports (living waters, calm waters), designed a priority action plan and developed a coherent and unified communication and marketing strategy.
