The programme “Milieux Open Herbacés” 2 – Phase 3 (2020-2021), coordinated by the Association of Natural Parks of the Massif Central (IPAMAC) brings together a diversity of partners (parks, departments, conservatories of natural spaces, national botanical conservatory of the Massif Central, agricultural education, CIVAM, SCOPELA, etc.). This program aims to cross naturalistic and agronomic perspectives to enhance and preserve the diversity of the pastures of the Massif Central. The partners share a common positioning: “Support the territories in a development based on the valorisation of the diversity of natural resources offered by open herbaceous environments through the skills and know-how of farmers as part of a programme coordinated at the level of the Massif Central”. The new phase (2020-2021) of the programme focuses on three axes: —1st axis: sharing of experiences, upskilling of park technicians. Proposal to work on the socio-economic assets of grass production, carbon storage... Days of meetings planned on these topics (then production of summary documents/arguments). 2nd axis: dissemination of knowledge and experience and support on SupAgro Florac to produce materials that could be useful to others. —3 rd axis: coordination of the programme, support for project leaders, networking, representation within the Cluster Herbe.
