Alsace 3D

The Alsace 3D project presents ambitious innovation objectives for IREPA LASER. It translates into significant investments in next generation laser machines and processes to develop the industrial solutions of the future. C is a major project for the development of new production technologies for IREPA LASER and for the Grand Est region. Within the framework of the Alsace 3D hub or platform, will be addressed the rapid manufacturing processes by optical and laser pathways where 3 axes emerge: 1. The Metal Additive Manufacturing plant and completion; 2. Micro machining by femto laser and ultra fast; 3. Advanced welding process for new industrial applications. These three axes integrate an aspect of research in particular on two transversal axes, materials and intelligent process control with a transfer vision. Priority will be given to the first two axes of additive manufacturing and micro-machining/surface texturing. This transaction concerns only the acquisition of equipment. The operational part of the project is the subject of the ERDF operation “PAM PROD” (AL0027035).
