The college of Brumath is undergoing a major restructuring operation to increase its reception capacity, redefine the functionality of spaces, comply with regulations and improve its energy performance. In addition to the demolition of a building, the project provides for the renovation of the main externate building with the addition of an extension. In terms of energy performance, the building will reach BBC level after work with a primary energy consumption of 56 kWhep/m².year compared to 214 initially. Its GHG emissions will be divided by 10. The construction of a biomass boiler room serving several buildings in the sector completes the project.
