The Territorial Community of Guyana, as the contracting authority of this operation, is the manager of several aerodromes throughout the territory. The Maripasoula aerodrome built in 1976 is currently subject to certification, which requires the construction owner to implement a programme of work to bring this aerodrome to the standards. The Maripasoula aerodrome comprises: A 1 200 ml concrete track with a width of 15 ml. A relationship track of 86 ml and a width of 9.81 ml A parking area of 54 m x 47 m.
