A strong mobilisation of institutional actors over the past three years in favour of the path of Santiago de Compostela between Cluny, Lyon and Le Puy-en-Velay has enabled, on the one hand, to approve the path and to publish a Topo-guide in connection with the French Federation of the Pédestre Hiking and on the other hand, to carry out planning operations on the route in order to guarantee its safety, comfort and cultural mediation. In 2020, the network of stakeholders embarked on a new phase consisting of consolidating the network and the route in its structural dimension, making it accessible to as many people as possible through the development of services and developing its image and reputation through an ambitious marketing and communication plan aimed at making the GR765 an attractive route for regional customers.
