From 1945 to 1990, thousands of hectares of wetlands were drained and planted with softwood in the central massif. Today, these wetland plantations are poorly known and pose management problems. The project aims to identify a representative part of them, to characterise them. From this characterisation of management scenarios can be proposed to the owners concerned. They may, depending on their inclination and the financial means offered to them, preserve or restore them. The project will study the technical, economic and social conditions of these choices, which will make it possible to optimise the ecosystem services provided by these anthropised natural spaces.
