The aim of the project is “Implementation of integrated digital solutions that will lead to process efficiency, reduce losses and improve the quality of services in Satu Mare County.” The overall objective of the project is “Efficient processes by reducing water losses in networks and improving the quality of services at the level of the Regional Operator APASERV SATU MARE SA” The specific objectives of the project are quantified in the following indicators that will be achieved at the end of 2023: — 57 flow-pressure monitoring systems will be mounted on networks, through which the zoning and monitoring of flow and pressure on supply networks, in a proportion of 90 %; — 8,592 cold water meters with remote reading, increase by about 28 % the number of branches of digitally metered OR; 1 piece of sewage visualisation self-laboratory, which is intended to detect water infiltrations in sewage networks, resulting from failures on water pipes, will be used throughout the entire operating area and is the first such equipment. The investments aim at streamlining processes, their costs, reducing water losses in networks, implicitly wasting water resources, thus responding to the need for adaptation to climate change. The proposed objectives and activities lead to the efficiency of the processes and contribute to the achievement of the Specific Objective 3.2 Increasing the level of collection and treatment of urban waste water, as well as the degree of ensuring the supply of drinking water to the population. This specific objective includes digitalisation measures necessary for the efficiency and sustainability of investments in the water/waste water sector (automation, SCADA, GIS, metering, loss control, laboratory analysis/processing data, etc.).
