The overall objective of the project is to increase the safety and security of Oradea Airport by ensuring the security of goods in accordance with the requirements – REGULATION (EC) No 300/2008 OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND OF THE COUNCIL of 11 March 2008 on common rules in the field of civil aviation security and repealing Regulation (EC) No 2320/2002, consolidated; Commission IMPLEMENTING REGULATION (EU) 2015/1998 of 5 November 2015 laying down detailed measures for the implementation of the consolidated common basic standards on aviation security; Commission IMPLEMENTING DECISION No 8005 of 16.11.2015 laying down detailed measures for the implementation of the common basic standards on aviation security containing the information referred to in Article 18(a) of Regulation (EC) No 300/2008, as amended (document with limited access – restricted dissemination); — National Aeronautical Security Programme approved by Government Decision No 1193/04.12.2012 (document classified as a secret service). The project “Equipment of Oradea Airport with Freight Security Control Equipment and Systems” is part of the Operational Programme Large Infrastructure 2014-2020, Priority Axis 2 – Development of a multimodal, quality, sustainable and efficient transport system, Investment Priority 7c – Development and improvement of environmentally friendly transport systems, including low-carbon and low-carbon ones, including inland waterways and maritime transport systems, ports, multimodal links and airport infrastructures, in order to promote sustainable mobility at regional and local level, Specific Objective 2.3 Calls for projects for the development of airport infrastructure – new investment projects targeting non-economic activities in the field of safety and security. The equipment proposed by the project responds to the following eligible actions under OS 2.3: B.
