The overall objective of the project is to improve energy efficiency through the production of energy from renewable sources in order to ensure own consumption at the level of the Regional Operator APA TARGOVISTE-DAMBOVITA S.A. The objectives of the project are in direct correlation with Specific Objective 11.1 Energy Efficiency and the use of renewable energy for own consumption at the level of enterprises and with the financing action, according to section 1.3.1., by the fact that it wants to build a capacity for the production of electricity from renewable photovoltaic resources in the 12 locations of the company, with a power of up to 400 kWp for each site, amounting to 3.0115 MW. The proposed project fits into measures to improve energy efficiency and stimulate the use of renewable energy and aims at Thematic Goal 4 “Supporting the transition to a low-carbon economy in all sectors”, aiming to promote investments in the clean energy and energy efficiency sector in order to ensure the contribution to the European Union’s 2021-2030 targets, assumed at national level through the Integrated National Energy and Climate Change Plan 2021-2030 (PNIESC) on final consumption of energy from renewable resources and increased energy efficiency, from liop. The electricity consumption for the 12 selected locations, for the reference period analysed, represents a share of 38.99 % of the TOTAL electricity consumption at the level of the economic operator. Regarding the production of electricity for the 12 selected locations, this represents a share of 23.52 % of the TOTAL electricity consumption at the level of the economic operator. At the same time, the electricity production for the 12 selected locations represents a share of 60.32 % of the TOTAL electricity consumption of the 12 locations, for the reference period analysed. The impact of the project on the company is significant, both in terms of electricity consumption and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, as can be seen from the project indicators. The project will be taken into account in the company’s business plan and will have no impact on changing the tariffs of the services provided.
