Within the framework of this project, a database will be created to collect data on antibiotics used to treat animals in Estonia. Data collection for animal species will take place in stages according to the scheme agreed by the EU. The aim is to address the growing problem of residency of antibiotics due to indirect antibiotic consumption associated with eating meat products. This is an ever-increasing problem in the field of medicine every year.
