Acquisition and implementation of digital means enabling the University to adapt to the context of the COVID 19 pandemic and its consequences.

The University of Orleans has had to evolve and transform to cope with the COVID-19 crisis. The students found themselves overnight at a distance and the administration switched to remote working mode. The continuity of the institution, the maintenance of its ability to deliver training to its students at a distance or in co-modality and the implementation of teleworking could only be ensured if the institution initiated a revolution in the digital solutions offered to its staff and students. This project falls under axis 10 – Action 42 (Investments for the digital transition) of the ERDF/ESF OP 2014-2020 of the Centre-Val de Loire Region. This operation is part of the COVID-19 pandemic crisis, which has had many consequences for higher education institutions. The investments made (including the acquisition of IT equipment and digital tools) were aimed at ensuring the continuity of the institution’s administrative and educational services.
