SAS Biogaz 60 Plateau Picard belonging to the cooperative UCAC and fifteen of its member farmers, has planned the realisation of an investment project for the construction of an agricultural methanisation unit allowing the recovery of waste from the territory in biogas and also of fertilisers recoverable in agriculture. A total of 17 farms will supply the methanisation unit. This project will ensure the supply of local raw materials to the methanisation unit and the generation of a green energy source (biogas), while improving the resilience of the farmers involved in the project. This project will also create 3 full-time equivalent jobs in the Hauts-de-France region. This project will inject 400 NM3/h of gas into the GRTGaz network, which will value 36500 tonnes per year, resources from the territory using equine manure, fruit and vegetable waste, CIVE and overpressed beet pulp enter the supply of this methanisation unit.
