This project aims to improve the distribution of drinking water in the territory of Guadeloupe, specifically in northern Grande-Terre. Indeed, for several years Guadeloupe has faced recurring situations of malfunctions in the distribution of water. This situation causes water shortages in many households on a daily basis; In response to this problem, the Presidents of major communities and EPCIs have put in place a Priority Action Plan aimed at improving the distribution of water throughout the Department. Under the operations indicated by the CTAP, the “Rehabilitation of the Belin production plant in the territory of the city of Port-Louis” is included. This plant is located in an area that does not escape disturbances in water production, especially in times of drought, and its rehabilitation will only be a new stone at the vast project of water management in Guadeloupe.
