Improving the quality of care in the Guadeloupean archipelago through the deployment of telemedicine

It is an operation carried out by the University Hospital Centre (CHU) of Guadeloupe on behalf of the Groupement Hospitalier de Territoire (GHT) because the CHU is the GHT support institution on behalf of the other GHT support institutions. The operation aims to deploy telemedicine in Guadeloupe’s territory. Some parts of the territory are understaffed with specialists (Nord Basse-Terre, Nord Grande-Terre, Marie-Galante, Les Saintes....). It is therefore a question of strengthening access to care and reducing waiting times. Expert sites (CHUG, CHBT) and patient sites will be equipped with telemedicine equipment (teleconsultation room or telemedicine cart with a portable kit of connected biomedical equipment).
