The investment for which Laser Fusion relies on the ERDF is a machine to increase production capacity with a triple of cutting speeds compared to the machines currently present on site. As a result, this investment will result in a three-fold reduction in the consumption of cutting gases (nitrogen). The new cutting systems with water fog to reduce the space between cut parts will result in large savings of raw material. Thus, this new technology will allow cutting more than 30 mm thick of stainless steel and aluminium sheet. Currently these thicknesses are cut by plasma, water jet or oxycoupage. Thus, this new production machine will allow Laser Fusion to gain speed, move on a development course and reduce the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
