In the context of the outbreak of COVID, the Reims Hospital has been strongly requested to organise patient transport back and forth between the CHU and the GHU in Champagne and beyond. However, the CHU does not have all the necessary equipment to transport overweight patients who are overrepresented in COVID patients. Also, the increase in the number of bariatric transport devices will significantly improve the care of patients but also the working conditions of paramedics. It will allow simultaneous interventions if necessary.
