The territory of the Métropole de Grenoble-Alpes is a territory constrained with low land reserves, especially in urban areas. The opportunities for requalification of former industrial sites are therefore strategic issues. In this context, the “Allibert” wasteland has an important stake in its size (10 ha) and its geographical position in the urban heart. Integrated into GRANDALPE’s urban renewal project, which covers a perimeter of 400 hectares in the municipalities of Grenoble, Echirolles and Eybens, its requalification should eventually allow companies to be mainly productive. Its integration into its urban environment will be the subject of a fine complementary work in order to ensure excellent cohabitation with the neighborhoods adjacent to the area. Finally, an ecological approach to waste treatment will be implemented with a proactive objective of re-use, recycling or other recovery of waste from the deconstruction site.
