The Digitale Académie project was initiated with the aim of enabling young people from the western Guyanese territory to follow a university course in the municipality of Saint-Laurent du Maroni, in a dematerialised way, in a place equipped for this purpose. This new structure requires a number of IT equipment and works allowing access to the computer network essential for the operation of this new establishment. With this equipment, the structure that will be labeled “Digitale Academy” by the RITLES network, will allow 60 young people to access higher education from Saint-Laurent du Maroni. These young students will be accompanied by local tutors who will each follow 10 to 15 young people in the success of their courses.
