Creation of a room dedicated to climbing blocks in DMC building 57, a remarkable industrial building currently disused, in extension of the existing climbing facility. This new room will strengthen the establishment as an international reference in the field of climbing and its role as a flagship in the rehabilitation of DMC’s industrial site. It will in particular allow the reception of a wider audience and more in demand of block climbing and to meet the conditions for the training of teams participating in the 2024 Olympic Games. The project is part of a wider operation to rehabilitate the DMC district led by m2A and the city of Mulhouse, the next steps of which will be the development and greening of the two main axes of the site with the ambition to transform it into an island of freshness and the rehabilitation of building 62 (23 000 m² floor area) and building 59/60.
