With authorised agents, according to Prefectural Order No. 2013189-0013 on the control of invasive animal species, the beneficiaries of the AIT will be able to capture, transport and destroy the species listed in Schedule 2 of the above-mentioned Order. In addition, it is provided, by way of derogation, that the Directorate of the Environment of Development and Housing of Martinique, will be able to establish ad hoc nominative authorisations in the case of the support of personnel outside the approved structures, such as the AIT project. This project will enable ACI beneficiaries to have skills in entomology, herpetology, ichthyology, animal capture or destruction techniques, and reporting techniques. Skills that will be transferable for environmental education, development and knowledge of natural spaces. This ACI project is part of an approach to safeguarding biodiversity, in wetlands, and particularly in the central area of the territory of the PNRM. It is initially planned for a duration of 24 months.
