Inclusive construction sites for a better life in your city

In order to meet the challenges of economic recovery, several actions are envisaged: With regard to the rehousing of older populations and low income levels, it is planned to support actions contributing to the construction of a secure, accessible, autonomous and intelligent individual housing that promotes the maintenance of the elderly at home: Construction and animation of a witness house at controlled cost to train DELDs in the various building trades; The conversion of a social housing building into a senior residence by offering the lessor a rehabilitation in the form of an alternative immersion school in relation to entrepreneurs. In the area of market attractiveness, the actions to be supported concern: The rehabilitation of Place Joël Pamphile, its layout (fixed kiosk equipment) for alternative trade by strengthening the means of intervention of an ACI; The rehabilitation of the covered market of the town centre in the form of an alternative immersion school in connection with the selected entrepreneurs. In the area of tourist attractiveness, the actions concerned are: The strengthening of integration actions contributing to the rehabilitation of the cottages of Sous-Bois, the rehabilitation of the Vivé Chapel to make it a virtual museum of pre-Columbian history; The strengthening of the integration measures planned for the preparation, development and equipment of the reception sites of an equestrian centre and a kassaverie; The strengthening of integration actions contributing to the development of hiking trails of historical and environmental discovery of the Lorrain, with the enhancement of the historical heritage (former distilleries), agritourism and viewpoints; Development and maintenance of public buildings and living spaces by conducting seasonal “jobs” for immersion in working life, in particular during periods of leave of communal staff; The strengthening of integration measures contributing to landscaping (sculptures, frescoes, etc.). On the social side: Strengthening integration actions contributing to health prevention with the development of Health pathways in the Séguineau and Morne-Capot neighbourhoods.
