Pass 'AGE: Intergenerational complicity -Voleet 2 – Atout SENS

How is Pass’age an innovative device? Guyana is a territory where the problems related to the professional integration of young people aged 15 to 29 are exacerbated compared to the metropolis. The low level of training, the lack of job opportunities, the poverty rate and the high population growth invite the actors of integration and guidance to innovate in order to improve the prospects of our young people. The BGE, through the Pass’âge device, is part of this dynamic. A coworking space: we organise our workshops in a modern and warm space to promote conviviality and stand out from the school institution. This space is also made available to those who want to come and work on their personal projects; A team with varied backgrounds: a professional development advisor, trainers/facilitators, a sociologist, young people who themselves benefit from integration schemes; so many assets to innovate in the proposed accompaniment and go beyond the pre-established frameworks of socio-professional support; Co-construction: our beneficiaries are fully involved in Pass’âge by sharing their ideas for workshops. We integrate them into the development of our schedules to best meet their immediate needs, interests and objectives. An intergenerational device: we mix generations who alternately take on the roles of "Energy Passors – autonomy’ and ‘Pathers d’avenir – specialists in life. For example, young people will introduce older people to the use of the digital tool; while seniors will make their life story and share about their personal, social and professional experiences. The social link and the transfer of skills are at the heart of the process to restore confidence to a sometimes disillusioned youth and put our elders at the heart of the society project. Benevolence is necessary. An accompaniment adjusted to each: above all support, we conduct a diagnostic interview with young people to know their motivation, the problems they encounter, the points of improvement and their projects in the longer or less long term. We take into account their specificity: NEETs, school dropout, person with disabilities, … for our senior audience, we offer various activities that take into account each other’s ages, physical and cognitive abilities. Flexible accompaniment: with permanent entrances and outings and without imposing mandatory participations in workshops per week. This in order to best adapt to the needs and constraints of the beneficiaries (mobility, childcare & #8230;); Innovative workshops: our support is aimed in particular at young people far from employment, with little or no training. To remobilise them and restore their confidence, we offer them activities that allow them to value their skills in a way that is hijacked. For example, we solicit their creativity with writing workshops, self-assertion and public speaking during debates, cohesion and self-improvement during sports walks & #8230; Four types of action will be put in place: 1. An action dedicated to the identification, reception, diagnosis of expectations and needs but also to a first valorisation of soft skills, or even technical skills that can be transferred; This action is finalised for each beneficiary by obtaining a roadmap and planning of first workshops in line with their profiles. (Sheets 1) We will ensure that we work on deliverables/beneficiaries that are designed as easy-to-read documents with varied and colorful diagrams and pictograms to increase their public accessibility to specific needs. 2. An action that corresponds to the gradual and regular deployment of a series of modules mixing the audiences supervised by professionals but also beneficiaries wishing to pass on knowledge with a complementary focus on the promotion of “intergenerational exchange services”. We will address as needed, the RHF coordinator of the territory in order to also work on the accessibility of educational content. 3. An action to support the implementation of the administrative procedures necessary for entry into the labour market, in training also including an emergency support service (restoration, mobility, etc.). We will surround ourselves with essential resource persons (accompanied employment, Resource Handicap Training, Equipment loan platform, social mediators Arbre cheeseager, CAF, digital mediator,...) The beneficiaries all first go through Action 1 and 2. Action 3 will not affect all the public; we estimate that 25 % of the public could be concerned, in particular, on an accompaniment which makes it possible to become autonomous from the various institutional and social approaches and 15 % could be affected by emergency assistance Action 3 corresponds to individual support with a facilitator but also if necessary to a senior wishing to share his expertise. Some collective awareness-raising actions may be proposed by mobilising external partners (Red Cross, cheese tree, etc.) The “Passage” area & #8211; the co-working of young and senio
