The State and the network of associative structures in charge of social inclusion, support and guidance for women victims, wanted to create a platform for observation, centralisation and convergence: the Observatory of Violence Against Women (ORViFF). Meeting place and animation of the network of actors to combat violence against women, it promotes the deployment of tools for care, awareness-raising, protection and prevention. The main action is to offer structures accompanying women victims of gender-based violence in their social and professional integration paths, tools, observation procedures, training, to ensure more effective care. Several observatories have been established at national level, with ORVIFF being the first ultrasea project. It has received significant national support due to the local willingness to have an observatory. For its implementation, it has benefited from the experience acquired by MIPROF – interministerial mission for the protection of women victims of violence and the fight against trafficking in human beings – in the accompaniment and development of existing observatories. The ORVIFF’s action is divided into four components: 1-the information and awareness-raising of the actors in charge of social inclusion, support and guidance, for a more effective care of women victims of violence and discrimination 2- the networking of these actors and the development of common tools, to develop a shared culture 3- observation and analysis, to better know the situations of violence and their evolution 4- information and awareness among the general public both to develop a greater awareness and a better solidarity. This action takes place in partnership with the Regional Directorate for Women’s Rights and Equality between Women and Men and the network of institutional and associative actors.
