Support for beneficiaries of the Youth Engagement Contract in the Martinique region

The youth employment contract has three pillars in its articulation, the support of job seekers (EDs) engaged, the allowance available to young people subject to resources within the framework of the scheme and a dedicated digital application. Only the support of young people is covered by this grant application. The project consists of intensive support for job seekers under the age of 26 or under 30 years of age with disability recognition. It aims to promote sustainable access to employment for young jobseekers experiencing difficulties in integrating into the labour market. The support offered under the Youth Engagement Contract may have the following characteristics: — an in-depth diagnosis of the young person’s situation. An action plan is then drawn up with the young person, according to their needs, in order to specify the objectives and modalities of the support. This action plan may evolve along the way. — personalised and individualised support with a single referent, who is an advisor to Pôleemploi; this referent is the privileged interlocutor of the young person throughout the course. This support can materialise around individual, collective or autonomous activities. Under the Young Engagement Contract, the participant will also have the opportunity to integrate structuring activities (e.g.: EPIDE, E2C, training, civic service, etc.) allowing it to meet its training, professionalisation and engagement needs. Throughout the accompaniment, the Pôle emploi counsellor will be able to perform regular stage points with the participant. The maximum initial duration of the accompaniment is 12 months, this may exceptionally be extended to 18 months if the situation of the job seeker after the 12 months of support so requires.
