Since the first 3 phases of the project enabled the provision of data, the development of geographic information tools and services to a community of users, the platform appears as an operational resource and expertise centre, recognised and identified, in terms of data sharing and geographical tools. It is also a neutral place for animation and transversal exchange. The ambition of PIGMA 4 is twofold: — Position the resource centre set up in PIGMA 3 at the scale of Nouvelle Aquitaine. — Extend the dynamics of data exchange and sharing to data in general based on the methods that worked for geographic information cf doc notefederpigma4.
