Operational implementation of the local coastal risk management strategy of the Basque Coast – Phase 1 (2017-2021).

Following the implementation, between 2012 and 2016, of the management strategies for the coastal strip of the two former Agglomerations Côte Basque-Adour and Sud Pays Basque, the CAPB decided, in 2017, to harmonise them within a single strategy. In order to implement it, an action programme for the period 2017-2022 has been built. Led by the CAPB in partnership with the municipalities of Anglet, Bidart, Biarritz and Saint Jean de Luz, this project aims to implement the operational phase of this action programme by perpetuating the existing works over the period 2017-2022. In parallel with this work, joint risk prevention and vulnerability reduction actions are being developed.
