The Geographic Information and Mutualisation Platform in Aquitaine (PIGMA) has in recent years made it possible to set up a centre of geographical resources and expertise. The first three phases led to the transmission of cartographic data and operational tools. The PIGMA 4 project will expand the dynamic of data exchange and sharing and position the resource centre across the territory of Nouvelle-Aquitaine. Pigma will be a support for the implementation of public policy in particular on urban planning themes, the simplified street body plan, address, risks and the consumption of space (opendata). The dissemination of digitised data will generate public money savings.
