CEN Nouvelle-Aquitaine is the manager of many sites of natural environments on the PNR Périgord – Limousin and Millevaches in Limousin. For 23 of them who have a validated management document, there is a need for animation time to implement the planned operations, monitor them and evaluate them in order to ensure the preservation of the biodiversity they host. For each site, an activity sheet takes stock of the actions carried out during the year and the results obtained in order to anticipate the actions to be implemented in the future. Ecological monitoring is also carried out to assess in situ the status of habitats and species, leading to different protocols relating to the objectives defined in advance.
