The LPO manages in particular the three national nature reserves of the department as well as natural areas listed among the Natura 2000 sites of the region. These natural areas are managed, but are also the subject of study programmes, naturalistic follow-up, and support activities of valorisation, discoveries and environmental education, usually with the support of local authorities. The proposed project brings together the actions implemented in the various areas in relation to the issues of protection, management, knowledge, awareness-raising and valorisation of natural heritage.
