As part of the Euro Argo Ocean Observation Project, the operation consists of continuing the acquisition of floats and consolidating the French contribution to Argo. These activities are associated with high scientific issues related to the major role of the ocean on the climate, with in particular the questions asked about the role of the deep ocean on the planet’s thermal balance.
