The ROEC project consists of observing the coastal marine environment using automated high-frequency in situ measurements. Data sources are essential and complementary to low-frequency networks, satellite observations and numerical modelling to understand the functioning of the coastal marine environment, global ecosystem change, and to develop new tools and deploy a regional observation network.
