Transformation and extension of the Marina of Bas-du-Fort

Ideally located in a small cul de sac Marin, the Marina Bas du Fort is the most important in the Caribbean, with a marina of 23 docks that can accommodate up to 1,086 boats, completed by 45 anchorages on buoy. To this is added a professional technical area of more than 6 000 m², complemented by a set of services (a dry hold, a 35-ton lift lift (lift equipment for the transport of boats, ships, yachts), as well as rental premises. The Marina is also its environment, which is constantly developing with a Carrefour Market shopping centre under construction, a medico-social center that is expected to see the day of next year. The Marina also plays a major role in the organisation of the Route du Rhum, through the day-to-day management of boat placement and all the logistics that revolve around the event. Its manager, the Société de gestion port de la Guadeloupe, wishes to rehabilitate the Marina through transformation and extension.
