ERDF – METROPOLE ROUEN NORMANDIE – Hypervisor project

Métropole Rouen Normandie is the winner of the PIA3 TI call for projects carried by the Banque des Territoires with its project “Rouen Normandie – Intelligent Mobility for All”; application including the hypervisor project. This project aims at the development and progressive deployment of a global system of hypervision and dynamic management of mobility data on the territory. It allows the integration of the various mobility services by continuously and in real time exploiting the internal and external data of mobility. “Mobility services” means all travel-related services and devices. The term therefore covers both transport services (TCU, train, taxis, VTC, car sharing, carpooling, free-floating services) and parking, access to electric charging stations, etc. It thus helps to create predictive models to improve services globally, thanks to a logic of back-analysis of past events. The hypervisor will also be intended to feed the MaaS de la Métropole, also funded under the PIA3 TI call for projects, as well as the regional MaaS. The hypervisor project aims to integrate four modules: — A predictive module for multimodal and surface parking uses; — A predictive traffic forecasting module from pre-calculated events; — A predictive analysis module and sim optimisation approaches; — An air quality module, powered by microsensors installed in the territory, but also by the circulation of transport drones (or last mile delivery axis) equipped with microsensors; — This grant application concerns the hypervisor core module, the associated data platform and the predictive module for multimodal and surface parking uses. The data platform for main functions: — Federate information from other systems and present them in the form of syntheses – To make available datasets to feed upstream traffic studies and to improve the programming of fire plans – Analyse information from other systems in a correlative way to improve the relevance of alerts, The basic hypervisor module for main function: — Enable operators and supervisors to carry out operational and dissemination actions adapted to the situations encountered, and federating all the means of action (control of devices, control of mechanical equipment, call of emergency and law enforcement agencies, etc.) – To concentrate the control of certain systems/equipment on federated HMIs – To carry out automatic controls of other systems in the event of incidents or technical defects (e.g. display of the camera concerned with preposition on the area of the incident...) The predictive module of multimodal uses and surface parking: — To estimate in real time the availability of the parking lot on road – to anticipate the climbs in charge.
