The subject of the planned project is the thermal modernisation of the building of the City and Municipality in Chodcz, which is consistent with the objective of measure 3.3 of the ROP WK-P for the period 2014-2020.Increasing the energy efficiency of the public administration building will be ensured as a result of the implementation of thermomodernisation works including: warming the ceilings of the highest floor, partial replacement of external windows and improving the efficiency of the building’s heating system by replacing the heat source. These comprehensive thermomodernisation measures, resulting from the scope of possible improvements indicated in the building’s energy audit, will significantly reduce heat losses through partitions and eliminate thermal bridges, generating large losses of thermal energy. Installation of a photovoltaic installation will contribute to increasing the share of renewable energy sources in the energy balance of the Municipality of Chodecz. The implementation of the project will result in a decrease in greenhouse gas emissions, which will significantly reduce low emissions, improve the quality of ambient air and improve the comfort of living. The decrease in CO2 emissions into the atmosphere will mitigate and slow down the climate change that has escalated in recent years, including the warming of the earth’s climate. As a result of the implementation of the project, the following output and result indicators will be achieved:- Number of energy upgraded buildings -1 pc.- Number of RES thermal generating units built -1 pcs.- Use area of buildings subject to thermal modernisation – 827.36 m²- Additional capacity to generate electricity from renewable sources – 14.82 MWe- Production of electricity from newly built installations using renewable energy – 13.94 MWhe/year- Reduction of annual primary energy consumption in public buildings (CI 32) – 261 537.82 kWh/year- Number of thermal energy saved – 753.25 GJ/year- Estimated annual decrease in greenhouse gas emissions (CI34) – 74.09 to CO2 equivalent.
