Modern rescue services – purchase of specialised equipment for the Water Voluntary Rescue Service of Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship and WOPR units associated with it

The aim of the project is to increase the effectiveness of rescue operations and improve safety in valuable natural sites and floodland areas of Kujawsko-Pomorskie Voivodeship. The scope of the project includes the purchase of specialised equipment for WOPR units associated in Kujawsko – Pomeranian Voluntary Voluntary Emergency Service, which has been individually selected for each unit. It is planned to purchase, among others, water scooters, quads, drones with thermal imaging, pneumatic rescue sleds for water and ice, ports and trailers for scooters, ports for boats or sonars, etc. It was also impossible to forget about the safety of the rescuers themselves, who often risk their lives and health for others. It is therefore planned to purchase various types of diving suits, neoprene gloves, life jackets for boats, scooters and quads, protective helmets or digital radios. The purchased equipment will be used to save human health and life. It will allow rescuers to more effectively watch over the safety of residents of our province as well as tourists. The result of the project will be to improve safety in places of natural value and to ensure safety in the field of flood prevention. Thanks to the new equipment, the mobility of the Kujawsko – Pomeranian WOPR survival craft, their operational capacity, as well as the time to reach the scene of the event will be increased. Modernisation of equipment is associated with improving the safety of people swimming, bathing and practicing water sports. It is also possible to obtain information on the current ecosystem and allow for conservation measures.
