The subject of the project is the development of greenery ter. in the area of Wasilków Municipality (and precisely individual locations in the city of Wasilków). The planned activities aim both to maintain biodiversity in the area covered by the Project and to promote its conservation. The project assumes the implementation of: — hortitherapeutic garden and a couple of pockets. at ul. Riverside, – an ecological corridor near St. Peter’s Church. Apost. Piotr and Paweł, – pocket park and rain garden. at ul. Kryńska, – pocket park and rain garden. at ul. Supraślska, – multi-storey plantings in the road lane – along ul. The field, a pocket park near Kubala’s roundabout. Thanks to the implementation of the project. areas covered by accidental vegetation or weeds, requiring increased activities, the value of green ter will be restored. Ter. currently undeveloped will gain new plantings of trees and bushes, which will affect humid and air quality. They will also contribute to shading part of the ground, which will allow to reduce the temperature increase and improve the comfort of the residents in the urbanised area. These actions will also affect the improvement of the microclimate, the dispersion of sound waves and the reduction of noise. Due to the design. ter. green in the form of geometric separations, harmoniously incorporating into existing communication lines, aesthetic values will be added. The implementation of the inwes. will also contribute to raising the ecological awareness of the inhabitants (place. plates with plant names) as well as taking care of insects, birds and small mammals through the kennel. Thanks to such actions, not only will the conditions of the animals be improved, but also the awareness of the need to take care of all beings will increase.
