The main task of the consulting project is to provide upstream, neutral, individual and holistic advice on the professional orientation of (re)entered women into the labour market. If there is an individual need, follow-up consultations are also carried out. The target groups of the individual eradication are in particular women of the Breastfeeding Reserve. The “Silent Reserve” includes women who are not engaged in employment (in particular. Housewives, pensioners, women who provide a youth volunteer service – Voluntary Social Year, Voluntary Ecological Year, Federal Voluntary Service), but are not registered with an employment agency. In addition, counselling is provided to women who are at risk of unemployment, on a short-term or part-time basis, in order to secure existing employment or to improve quality or quantity. Furthermore, students will be advised on the transition from school or university to work and advise women on the possibilities and framework conditions of vocational training in part-time. As a new target group, refugee women will be advised with access to the labour market. The access opportunities and conditions to the labour market depend on the residence permit granted by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) as part of the asylum procedure. The consultations are held in German. The women to be consulted must have acquired sufficient knowledge of German in order to be able to conduct a consultation. Upstream migration advice should have already taken place. Unemployed women outside the mentioned target groups and full-time women not at risk of unemployment are not a target group of FRAU &BERUF. In order to achieve the consulting figures of the region’s individual consultations, measures for acquisition are carried out and consulting services are advertised. In particular, group counselling offers, lectures, workshops and seminars on labour market policy issues are to be held, which should encourage the participants to take advantage of individual counselling. In addition, regional tasks are carried out which are oriented to the specific requirements of the labour market in the region. This also includes the active support of regional networks or structures based on national focus topics.
