With the project “MomStarter”, the Turkish community in Schleswig-Holstein addresses long-term unemployed women and mothers with a migration and refugee background, taking into account the sustainable change in regional labour markets and the associated structural changes. Existing competences and potentials of the participants are determined, identified barriers and deficits are gradually eliminated. Sustainable labour market integration should also be achieved through the involvement of husbands in the project and through complementary support and counselling in childcare.
