PEB Action SAFI!

A project under ESF Instrument 13 “PEB – Innovative Model Projects” will be funded. The purpose is the model testing of new approaches to action in the districts. In order to facilitate social participation and self-determined lifestyles for refugees, effective tools are needed in the transition to benefit-employment. Here, regular individual interventions as well as support are necessary in order to make a small-scale, practical pre-accession to the working life goal-oriented. The process requires a protected space for the TN and is nevertheless to be defined close to the company, so that a promising transition into the many district support offers is possible, such as “refugees in work” of the district administration and & “ARRIVO ringpraktikum®”; (ARP) and & bdquo; the corporate network Großbeerenstraße (NG) as one of the important players in the district. Thus, they reach a wider target group. in two years, the project will prepare 40 women who are away from the labour market for their transition to employment by training and developing their social and professional competences along the competences to be evaluated using the work process-oriented (APO) method (see “Procedure and methods”). According to the integrated approach of the dual strategy of the Berlin ESF-OP, the TN are composed of (long-term) unemployed and women with migration history, especially refugees. The TNs get to know “rules of the game” and performance requirements of the labour market, train their adherence to them in practice and increase their professional competences. On the one hand, they are prepared for offers that have a direct effect on integration into training/work or, in individual cases, already for the immediate transition into training/work. For these offers and the participating companies, this means a reduction of friction losses. The betriebl. Resources and the used, mostly public funding are spared. Encounter and cooperation in the joint implementation of the APO qualification projects creates mutual acceptance between the target group of women with migration history and the majority society. On the one hand, the preparation of the TN through the project increases the efficiency of subsequent projects at the immediate transition into training and work. On the other hand, these projects, as well as interested companies, have a larger target group. _x000D_ by linking social pedagogical support, further education and practical application to a comprehensive, needs-oriented process, the competences of the TN are trained through activities that meet existing demands in the social space in interaction with the NG. Mentoring and coaching as well as case management with his case files as instruments of the social paediatrics. Accompaniment support the TN according to needs and individually. On the one hand, workshops provide general basics and specialist knowledge. Content, such as conflict or time management, on the other hand, methods necessary for the implementation of the tasks within the project, such as basics of didactics. The implementation of the APO qualification projects trains the TN professionally and methodically and prepares them application-oriented for later internships. The activities are accompanied by the project’s own public relations work and quality management, e.g. in the form of feedback rounds and competence surveys (Geva test), which enable a continuous improvement process (CIP). In the professional support of the TN, case files are created, individual target agreements and milestone planning are made, which shape individual paths in the training and labour market, but also conducive or hindering aspects, such as motivation and fear, are dealt with in a solution-oriented manner. The group of volunteer mentors is dedicated to the TN as needed as an alternative or complementary to a level of purely human interest in the TN. In this way, volunteers can build more intense, sometimes friendly relationships with TN. This has an additional, intense motivational potential. For this purpose, TCE uses a proven and extensive network of mentors. The project team moderates the formation of mentoring tandems and supports the mentors through further education and supervision. This provides the project with various tools for individual TN support. _x000D_ the planned workshops introduce the TN to standards and rules. Topics, depending on the TN composition and & ndash;necessary, are & “everyday culture in Germany”, “political education at local level”; or “Ways in the Vocational Education and Training System” in relation to the professions affected by the project, in which the TN exchanges with migration history with the TNs from the majority society; similarly, in soft skills training, such as “handling conflict & ‘time management’”; or “promoting frustration tolerance.” Useful technical additions are software training and support in the preparation of up-to-date application documents in accordance with the DIN
