The “New Production School Moritzburg” is a project of working-world-related youth social work. The project aims to provide vocational orientation and preparation for disadvantaged young people who are not (any longer) achieved by existing career entry projects and training measures. The target group are job-seeking young people aged 16 to 27, especially young people who already have unsuccessful action careers and are sometimes burdened with multiple problems. The project is intended for young people of all genders. A total of 24 seats – 8 seats per workshop area – are available. The young people work in three workshop areas: Green workshop, craftsmanship and the creative workshop. The participants have the opportunity to complete the secondary school graduation. In the course of the action, each young person shall visit at least one traineeship per year. In parallel to practical work and subject-specific education, the participants are accompanied and promoted in a social pedagogical manner.
