Our project approach to the planned installation of a needs-based action structure for the transnational acquisition of skilled workers focuses on three main target groups: cooperation partners (1) and companies (SMEs) (2) to be recruited in Thuringia, cooperation partners to be won in the target regions (3) and participants to be recruited for preparations for the start of training or employment in Thuringia (4). The objectives of the project are an apprentice and skilled worker-related research in companies in the project region of Central, West and East Thuringia as well as co-member companies of the FAV/OAV and a structured preparation and bundling of the specific needs according to industries, professions and regions. In cooperation with Kam-mern and institutions, a network development will be achieved in the form of an action structure in Thuringia as well as the selected target regions Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Vietnam, China and Türkiye. The acquisition and integration of cooperation and network partners and the establishment of a sustainably oriented active action structure for the acquisition of skilled workers is a declared goal. To this end, 18 language courses/initial orientations will be implemented cooperatively (in the case of cooperation partners) as preparatory measures for training or employment in Thuringia for at least 240 participants. In Thuringia, the medium-term needs of 700 SMEs will be explored, 150 cooperation agreements with Thuringian SMEs will be concluded and 15 events for SMEs will be held. In the target countries, 20 transnational cooperation partners will be closed, 15 specialist trade fairs, and information events for network partners (15) as well as participant target groups (20). The structure to be established is intended to ensure sustainable access to skilled workers’ potential and to promote training, work and life opportunities in Thuringia to suitable target groups. Through best-practice, it is intended to generate confidence in the future of skilled workers in SMEs and their employees through intercultural openness and po-sitive experience and actively support SME locations and competitiveness with skilled labour resources. Our certified quality management aims to ensure the implementation and achievement of goals. The regions of Serbia and Mongolia were subsequently included in the project. The target region of Vietnam is omitted.
