The FAV Service gGmbH, Gotha is responsible for the measures and cooperates with the following partners: • VHS-BILDUNGSWERK GmbH -Zweigniederlassung Thüringen-, Gotha • Technische Bildungsstätte Gotha GmbH, Gotha • Institute of Automotive Engineering, Gotha • Technical University Ilmenau, Central Institute of Education, Ilmenau The implementation takes the form of professional field surveys in class 9 and professional field trials from class 10 for pupils of high schools in the lot area. The structures available in the network of sponsors offer students the best opportunities for individual occupational field sensing and testing as well as insights into the world of study. The student body will be given access to a broad portfolio of professions. 7 STEM occupational fields are offered as part of the professional field survey; in the professional field testing, the sponsor association holds 8 STEM occupational fields in accordance with the development of needs in Thuringia. The offer is supplemented by the connection of the study-oriented sequence. The planned action period is from 1.1.2018 to 31.7.2018, implementation locations are the premises of the joint partners in Gotha and Ilmenau. We initiate a systematic school-specific process of individual professional orientation as well as the study orientation for each individual student. We take into account the “Landing Strategy Vocational Orientation”, regional specifics and areas of growth.
