The measures of practical vocational orientation enable pupils to gain additional practical experience in accordance with the “Landing Strategy for Practical Vocational Orientation” in the form of vocational field sensing (Grade 7) and professional field trials (Grade 8). Our cooperation schools with about 950 students in the Weimar Land district are: • State school “Prof. Gräfe” Buttstadt • Active school Berlstedt “An der Via Regia” • State standard school “Am Lindenkreis” Buttelstedt • State standard school “Anna Sophia” Kranichfeld • State standard school Wartenbergschule Niederzimmern • Klosterbergschule Bad Berka – State standard school Werner-Seelenbinder Apolda • State standard school Pestalozzi Apolda • Tuscany school Bad Sulza – State standard school the measures are organised and implemented by the following partners of the NETZWERK FOR PRAXISNAHE BERUFSORIENTATION: • FAV SERVICE gGmbH, Gotha • Grone-Bildungszentrum Thüringen GmbH – non-profit, Weimar • Handicraft Education Center Weimar e.V., Weimar • JUL non-profit GmbH, Weimar • Apoldaer Bildungswerk e.V., Apolda The pupils get an insight into various professional fields according to the development of requirements in the fields of “technology” (construction, architecture, surveying/electric/computer, IT/agriculture, nature and environment/metal, mechanical engineering/wood and paper/glass, paints, coatings, plastics/technology, technology fields/transport, logistics), “health and social care” (medicine, psychology, nursing and therapy) and “others” (tourism, leisure, foreign languages and dialogue marketing/body care, housekeeping/textiles, clothing, leather/business and secretariat) are supported in their individual career orientation. The educational institutions (places of action) are located in Apolda and Weimar and can be easily reached by the participating pupils independently or with an organised bus transfer. Our measures make a significant contribution to equality with the aim of promoting the reduction of gender-specific training and career choices. At the end of the action, the students will receive an individual confirmation of participation or a certificate of participation with reference to the occupational fields. From the school year 2020-2021, FAV SERVICE gGmbH, as representative of the sponsor association, coordinates the measures in cooperation with the schools, the Agency for Labour, the Agency for Educational Justice and Vocational Orientation (ABBO) and the Chambers for the first time in this lot area. The measures are funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) and the Free State of Thuringia and co-financed by the Federal Employment Agency.
