On the basis of the “Landing Strategy for Practical Vocational Orientation in Thuringia” and the ESF School Promotion Directive, vocational field surveys and professional field trials are offered as practical experiences for pupils. The target groups are students of grades 7 – 9 in schools who prepare for the acquisition of the primary and secondary school qualifications. The vocational field surveys and professional field trials with the planned 90 pupils in the JBZ and IB are intended to help prepare for training, in particular in the fields of technology, health and social care and gastronomy, in line with the developments in the needs of the Free State of Thuringia and the regional conditions, thereby enabling students to make a well-founded decision for the choice of student internships. Professional field sensing and professional field trials are offered by the Jenaer Bildungszentrum (JBZ) in the fields of technology, technology, metal, mechanical engineering and electrical engineering, and by the International Federation (IB) which cooperates with it in the fields of glass, paints, varnishes, plastics, medicine, psychology, nursing and therapy, tourism, leisure, foreign languages, dialogue marketing, wood, paper, computer science, IT. They take place at the educational institution. In order to be able to offer professional fields in the broad spectrum, various educational institutions have joined forces in the Saale-Holzland-Kreis. They work closely with the schools, parents and career guidance of the Jena Employment Agency. The project duration is 1.1.2022 – 31.7.2022.
