Through the measure of the TU Imenau, the participating pupils gain far-reaching insights into the various STEM areas and thus receive an optimal orientation in the professional growth fields of the skilled workers’ perspective 2025 as well as in the STEM fields of study. The TU Ilmenau and the aforementioned lot partners – with their proven techn. naturwiss. Experience – offer a wide range of professional fields in both BF sensing and BF testing. This portfolio ensures that TNs are targeted with regard to their choice of career. For TN, the measure makes a valuable contribution to their personal career choice biography and significantly promotes their decision-making competence with regard to the choice of a suitable internship. Finally, due to the close interaction between the practical offers of the measure and the SBP, the TN acquires a high level of competence regarding their personal choice of studies. The TNs of the grammar schools participating in the project can choose from an extensive professional portfolio in the BF survey. This is provided by the lot partners. At the same time, the study-oriented sequence is a central mandatory part of the project implementation as part of the BF survey. In grades 10 and 11 respectively, participation in the BF-testing for TN is possible if they still need orientation in relation to a STEM orientation of the training or studies after completed and reflected practical experience (BF-exploration, SBP). In this case, the relevant TNs can choose from the diverse professional portfolio of the lot partners (ZIB TU Ilmenau and BWTW). If participation in the study-oriented sequence in the BF sensing was still mandatory, it is optionally selectable for the TN in the BF test. Nevertheless, the study-oriented sequence is then part of the BF testing, should the TN opt for BF from the offering portfolio of the ZIB of TU Ilmenau.
