The measure will be implemented by TU Ilmenau as an action promoter with the following lot partner: BWG The target group of the measure is the pupils of grade 9 as part of the BF survey and the pupils of grades 10 and 11 if required in the context of the BF test. Through the measure of TU Ilmenau, the participating pupils gain far-reaching insights into the various STEM areas and thus receive an optimal orientation in the professional growth fields of the skilled workers’ perspective 2025 as well as in the STEM fields of study. The TU Ilmenau as well as the aforementioned lot partner – with their proven technical scientific experience – offer a wide range of professional fields in both BF exploration and BF testing. This portfolio ensures that TNs are targeted with regard to their choice of career. For TN, the measure makes a valuable contribution to their personal career choice biography and significantly promotes their decision-making competence with regard to the choice of a suitable internship. Finally, due to the close interaction between the practical offers of the measure and the student internship, the TN acquires a high level of competence with regard to their personal choice of studies. Students of the grammar schools participating in the project can choose from an extensive professional portfolio in the BF survey. This is provided by the lot partners. At the same time, the study-oriented sequence is a central mandatory part of the project implementation as part of the BF survey. The staff of the ZIB of the TU Ilmenau ensure the implementation of the study-oriented sequence. Accordingly, the implementation is planned in class 9 in such a way that the TN choose from the offered occupational fields (preferably BWG) and complete the practical vocational orientation in the corresponding occupational field (in daily change four days a week) in small groups. The study-oriented sequence is offered in small groups and completed by the TN on the remaining fifth day. Nevertheless, an implementation of BF sensing based on school organisation conditions is also possible. Specifically, this means, on the one hand, a reduction in the possible amount of hours and, on the other hand, an exclusive use of TU Ilmenau’s professional field portfolio. In the BF survey, the TN gains an insight into the processes of the working world due to its great practical relevance. In grades 10 or 11 it is possible to participate in the BF-testing for pupils if they still need orientation in relation to a STEM orientation after completed and reflected practical experience (BF-exploration, pupil business internship). In this case, the students concerned can choose from the diverse professional portfolio of TU Ilmenau. If participation in the study-oriented sequence was still mandatory in the BF sensing, it is optionally selectable in the BF test. Nevertheless, the study-oriented sequence is part of the BF testing within the portfolio of the ZIB of the TU Ilmenau. The measure prepares students for their personal choice of careers in a comprehensive manner and in accordance with the recommendations of the Land Strategy. Upon successful participation in the explorations, TN will receive certificates of participation from TU Ilmenau. Regular exchange in the network of the carrier network ensures the nationwide compliance and further development of quality standards. The measure aims at the Thuringia Vocational Vocational Skills Model, taking into account phase 2 (exploration) and 3 (decisions). In cooperation of school, HS, professional. Training facilities and AAs shall be submitted to the TN for each phase, tailored to needs and target groups.
