Practical vocational orientation in the school years 2015/2016 and 2016/2017 in the city of Jena On the basis of the “Landing Strategy for Practical Vocational Orientation in Thuringia” and the ESF School Promotion Directive, vocational field surveys and professional field trials are offered as practical experience for pupils. We implement the practical vocational orientation in the school years 2015/16 and 201 6/17 according to the contents of the present overall concept. The target group are pupils of grades 7-10 with special educational needs as well as increased pedagogical funding needs, who learn in joint classes in Jenear community schools or at a support heel. Our educational institution cooperates with the State Support Centre “Janis-Schule” Jena, which is affiliated with the network (joint teaching, pupils with funding needs) in cooperation with Jena community schools. Within the framework of the network, in the school year 2016/17, students of the State Community School of Montessori School Jena and the State Common School ‘Kaleidoskop Jena’ will participate. In both school years, 83 pupils from the above-mentioned schools participate in the measure. They work closely with the schools, parents, career guidance of the Jena Employment Agency, the Osfthüringen Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Chamber of Crafts for East Thuringia and companies in industry, crafts and health and social care.
